Fees

I am an insurance provider on the Seton Health Plan. Otherwise, I am considered an out-of-network provider with regard to most insurance plans. This allows you to have the maximum control of your records and privacy as well as freedom of choice in selecting who provides the services that you or your child receives. I can work with you to help you obtain insurance reimbursement for my services.

Therapy & Consultation – My fees for therapy and consultation are competitive with those of most psychologists in private practice. The initial intake session is 75 minutes long and $185. Thereafter, individual therapy sessions are 50 minutes long and $150. Couples and family therapy sessions are 50 minutes and $160.

Evaluations – Evaluations include an initial interview, a review of background information and history, standardized testing in various areas depending upon the particular needs of the client, a report consisting of a review of history, test findings, diagnoses, and recommendations, and a one hour feedback session. The fee for an assessment varies depending on the nature and scope of the evaluation. All evaluations are conducted through the Austin Psychology & Assessment Center (ApaCenter) of which I am the director. Methods of Payment - Payments are made out to the Austin Psychology & Assessment Center (or ApaCenter). The ApaCenter accepts credit card payments through Visa and MasterCard as well as personal checks and cash payments.

Health Savings Accounts and Flexible Spending Accounts – If you have a Health Savings Account (HSA) or a Flexible Spending Account (FSA), you are generally able to pay for therapy, consultation, and psychological assessment services from such accounts. In effect, this makes those services tax-deductible. Please check your specific HSA or FSA to see if any restrictions apply.
